Itinerary
06.00 am Morning pickup from your Agra hotel and you will meet your tour guide then visit the Taj Mahal to see the sunrise over the World Heritage Site that was built in the 1600s by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the tribute to the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
After Taj Mahal return to your hotel for breakfast, then visit the second the Imposing Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in Multi Cousin Restaurant. After Lunch Visit Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent fortified ancient city 40 kilometers west of Agra, and the short-lived capital of the Mughal empire between 1572 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Earlier, Akbar had visited the village of Sikri to consult the Sufi Saint Shaikh Salim Chishti, who predicted the birth of a heir to the Mughal throne.
